Monique Gallagher took on mothering just as she would any consulting job in project management. With her knowledge of psychology and extensive project management experience in Europe and South America when she discovered she had a challenging, willful child she became determined to find a solution that would guide him to become a loving, cooperative child without breaking his will.
She succeeded to the extent that her own strong-willed child gave her the keys to the kingdom by filling in the gaps of the Acceptable Behavior Checkbook system. He became her advisor whenever he found a loop hole that children were able to use and get around.
